Cougars Documentary

The new concept of Cougars are taking to the big screen once again. Two business owners from Arizona are working on creating a documentary which is focused on hunting Cougars. Susie Merwin and Jefferey Serpa of Scottsdale hope to get their documentary to the Sundance Film Festival by next January. Merwin states "Scottsdale is the Cougar capital" which makes Arizona the prime location to shoot such a documentary. The duo have been hitting the town interviewing both cougars and the younger men they hunt to cover both sides of the story. Many of the young men commenting on how easy it is to communicate with the older women and the lack of "games" they have to play. Cougars usually refrain from being tied down to a relationship and are looking to have fun, making it easy for them to snag younger men. The documentary is aimed at providing education to the taboo of age differences dating. What type of impact will it have?

How to Be a Cougar

Cougar Channel presents it's how to steps to being a Cougar. Remember to not try to dress like the younger women at the bar, but to dress classy and sophisticated, that's why the guys are looking for. Not Happy with Cougar Label

Not everyone beleives the name "Cougar" is a badge of honor. Actually three women are so offended they are taking it to the court system (they actually feel some thing will be accomplished there). Three women went out to a local club in southern California called "Chapter 8", they club is  a very popular spot for older women to pick up younger men. 

The TV show Attack of the Show, featured on G4, had a segment on the show called "The Great Cougar Hunt". The show labeled the three women Cougars and claimed they were on the hunt for younger men. The women claim the show is derogatory and stated they were not at the club to meet younger men. These three women are suing G4 for one million dollars saying G4 did not have consent to film the women. 

I would like to see these women, maybe they are worthy of being posted here at Cougar Hunt.

Cougar Music & Movies

It's amazing the products that are being named after Cougars these days. Of course there's going to be t-shirts that mention how the person who is wearing it is after older women. It doesn't stop there though. Amazon.com has all kinds of products that pop up when a search is done for Cougars.

I was running through Google after searching Cougars and came across Sugar Ray's new CD "Music for Cougars". First off I wasn't even aware Sugar Ray still made music, that aside, what exactly classifies as music for Cougars? I'm tempted to buy this CD, or at least youtube a few videos, and see what this is all about.

Now a friend of mine is always boasting about this movie "Cougar Club" and I have still yet to see it (Yea I know, how can I write about Cougars and not see Cougar Club). Amazon's review goes something like this "Two guys like older women, so they start a business helping guys find older women, hilarity ensues". From the looks of what "other customers bought" this movie has cheesey, yet funny written all over it.

National Single Cougars Convention

On August 28th at 7:30pm Dinah's Garden Hotel, in Palo Alto, CA, will host the first ever National Single Cougars Convention. The convention is aimed at older women who enjoy dating younger men and of course the young men who love the older women. Also available at the convention will be the first ever Miss Cougar America Award given out to the crowds favorite Cougar.

If you're looking fior a great place to pick-up a cougar or even if you're a cougar on the hunt this convention is a great opportunity. I mean realistically everyone can find some entertainment here.

M.E.O.W Event

New event in Scottsdale, AZ pairs older women with younger men. M.E.O.W, which stands for Men Enjoying Older Women, is the latest in speed dating aimed at older women and younger men.

Joann Cohen, who is a dating specialist, receives many request from younger men who are seeking a older woman. Naturally some older women are on the hunt for younger men. Ages of the dating service range from men, ages 25 - 39, to women, ages 40 - 55.

This weeks Cougar of the week is Halle Berry! The 42 year young actress is dating French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubrey who is 10 years younger than than Berry and the couple have even had a child together. Halle has mentioned she does not plan to marry (maybe to keep her options open?) but there are talks of another child.
